Fameye Cautions Fans Against Smoking and Womanising After Unveiling New Alter Ego
Ghanaian musician Fameye has urged his fans to stay away from smoking and womanising, shortly after introducing his newly created alter ego, Antonio.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) page, the artiste stated plainly: “Smoking is a bad habit.” The comment drew mixed reactions, as some fans have long speculated that he smokes. Fameye has consistently denied such claims in interviews, clarifying that while he does not smoke, he holds no personal grudges against those who do.
In another post, he cautioned against excessive womanising: “Bro, if you are doing too many girls, stop ok? It’s a bad habit. Bye.”
It remains uncertain whether Fameye is merely offering moral advice or subtly hinting at a new creative path through Antonio, the character he recently introduced. According to him, Antonio represents a deeper, more spiritual persona, taking over from his previous alter ego, Peter.
Fameye, born Peter Famiyeh Bozah, is celebrated for hits such as Nothing I Get, Praise, Mati, and Long Life. Beyond his music, he has consistently used his platform to promote values of discipline, responsibility, and moral reflection—Antonio, it seems, is the next step in that ongoing journey.
