Dancehall star Shatta Wale has reportedly missed out on a massive $2 million music distribution deal after the recent controversy involving the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and his seized car.

His communications manager, Sammy Flex, confirmed the news, revealing that the high-profile dispute directly disrupted negotiations for the deal linked to Shatta’s upcoming Voice of the Crown EP.

“Damn! These reports are messing up business. After this $2 million distribution deal fell through, I’m getting worried, chale,” Sammy Flex lamented.

Shatta Wale himself admitted the setback was painful but vowed not to give up.

“E pain we all, but God deh… Stay strong. #GODISHERE. #VOTCEP will still fly no matter what,” he wrote, encouraging fans to keep faith in the project.

The Voice of the Crown EP had been positioned as one of Shatta Wale’s most ambitious releases, with the now-cancelled deal promising global distribution and access to new markets.

Despite the financial and promotional hit, Shatta Wale insists the EP will still drop — and will succeed against the odds.
