Afro-dancehall heavyweight Stonebwoy has finally weighed in on the buzz surrounding the Economic and Organised Crime Office’s (EOCO) seizure of Shatta Wale’s Lamborghini Urus.

Speaking from Jamaica in a recent interview, the BHIM Nation boss was asked point-blank if he had “snitched” on his long-time industry rival, triggering the luxury ride’s confiscation.

Stonebwoy laughed off the rumour but hinted he was privy to details the public didn’t know.

> “When you follow the news properly, me and some man will know the truth before the truth comes out. From where I stand, you can’t two-talk, you know. I’m an insider; I know a whole heap of things you can’t know,” he said with a knowing smile.

Without mentioning names, Stonebwoy threw subtle shade at the entertainment industry’s obsession with appearances, stressing that not everything showcased online is genuine.

> “It’s just hype. Many people want to really flash it. But believe me, not everybody can have it. Some of the things I know, if others knew too, they wouldn’t sleep,” he remarked.

The Go Higher hitmaker was quick to clarify that he does not wish failure on others.

> “I don’t try to cross people. I pray your thing goes well for you, and my thing goes well for me. But you find the opposite in a lot of people,” he said.

While stopping short of confirming or denying any involvement, Stonebwoy’s cryptic statements have set social media ablaze, leaving fans and critics dissecting every word.
